The AboveGenius Badminton Rackets Set is number 7 in this guide. At £36.99 you get six rackets, six nylon shuttlecocks and one storage tub, which works out at a little over £6 a racket before you count the shuttlecocks. The listing carries 4.5 out of 5 from 607 ratings, and its own breakdown is top-heavy: 75 five-star marks against 3 one-star.

The figure worth pausing on is the weight. This is a six-racket set with a tub, yet the Item Weight field reads 115 g — the exact figure the first bullet gives for a single racket ("Each racket weighs only 115g"). No weight for the packed box appears anywhere on the listing. The material is named twice and does not match: the copy says tempered ferroalloy and the Material Type field says "Ferroalloy Racket, Nylon Shuttlecock", while Frame Material Type and Shaft Material both read "Alloy Steel". The Size field, 25.71 x 8.07 inch, is roughly one racket's length and head width rather than the packed set. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing of our own.
