No. 8 in this guide is the odd one out: the Fitarc Cable Machine Attachment Set is not a cable machine. At £43.99 it costs roughly a tenth of the £379.99 crossovers ranked above it, and what arrives is a set of four interchangeable handles — a double D row handle, a tricep rope, a tricep V bar and a straight bar — rather than a frame and a weight stack. The listing carries 4.8 out of 5 from 628 ratings and sits 27th in Amazon's Exercise Machine Accessories category.

The listing contradicts itself in a couple of small places, and both are worth knowing before you buy. The main bullet calls it an "All-in-One Combo" and the included components field names four separate pieces, yet the spec table's "Number of items" field reads 1. The item model number field does not give a model number at all; it reads "Fitarc home gym machine". The rating breakdown bars run 86 / 10 / 3 / 1, which sums to 100 against the 628 ratings the listing reports. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing — we have not tested the set ourselves.
