The iLoxin EMS ab belt takes third place in our guide to EMS muscle stimulators, and it is the one buyers have actually turned up for: 2,640 ratings at 4.0 out of 5. That 4.0 is built from 53% five-star ratings and 11% one-star ones. At £54.99 it is not the cheapest belt here, and the listing backs the price with three numbers you can count: 6 training modes, 15 levels of intensity and a rechargeable 200 mAh battery.

Where the page gets awkward is everything around those numbers. The product title is in German - 'EMS Bauchtrainer, EMS Trainingsgerät, Bauchmuskel Gürtel' - while the bullet points are in English and the price is in pounds. The model number field reads 'Schwarz', which is German for black, and the specification table carries a line reading 'Guaranteed software updates until: unknown' - on a muscle stimulator whose included components field lists one item: 'EMS Muscle Stimulator'. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as it stands. We have not tested this belt ourselves.
