The Garmin HRM-200 is a chest strap heart rate monitor at £59.99, second in this guide and second in Amazon's own Heart Rate Monitors ranking. It holds 4.4 out of 5 from 1,679 ratings, and 79 of the 100 ratings in the histogram are five stars, with only ten ratings below four. For a £60 strap, the numbers buyers have left behind are unusually settled.

The listing is where it gets interesting. The spec table gives Sensor Type as Optical — the same label the Polar Verity Sense carries in this guide, and the same one on the COOSPO chest strap — while the bullets describe a band you wear around your chest, machine washable, with a user-replaceable battery and a 3 ATM water rating. The title says Size M-XL; the only chest circumference printed anywhere in the listing is 60-85cm (23.5-33.5 in), and that figure belongs to the XS-S strap. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out.
