The PROIRON kettlebell is 12kg of cast iron for £36.99, rated 4.6 stars from 587 ratings, with a 30mm handle and a neoprene coating.

## Questions people ask

**How wide is the handle?**

30mm, which is 3.0cm — stated in millimetres rather than centimetres.

**Is neoprene good?**

Yes indoors: it is quiet, does not mark floors and forgives a hard landing.

**Why is its rank so low?**

Because buyers do not find it first; the rating and the sample do not suggest a problem.

**Is 12kg right for me?**

It is the standard working weight for a man who has swung before; start lower otherwise.

**Why is it fifth?**

Because the handle is measured properly and 12kg is a serious weight, but the sample is modest.

**How many ratings does it have?**

587 at the time of collection, averaging 4.6 stars, with 80 per cent five-star and 2 per cent one-star.
