This JOOLA set sits at #6 in this guide at £84.90, rated 4.6 from 721 ratings. The product name describes a fibreglass surface, a bullet describes a Response Polypropylene Honeycomb core, and the listing states USAPA approval for tournament play. It is sold as an all-round paddle for players moving towards more competitive play.

The listing disagrees with itself about what actually arrives. One bullet reads 'INCLUDES 2 PADDLES, 2 BALLS, CARRY BAG', while the specification table on the same page gives Unit Count as 1.0 count and Included Components as 'Paddle'. It also prints Item Weight as 454 g, which is not the weight of one paddle — at roughly 230 g each, that figure fits a pair or a box. The material fields disagree as well: Material Type reads 'Carbon Fibre, Polypropylene' while Frame Material Type reads Fibreglass, which is what the product name advertises. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out.

## Questions people ask

**What comes in the box?**

The bullet says 'INCLUDES 2 PADDLES, 2 BALLS, CARRY BAG'. The specification table on the same JOOLA listing says Unit Count 1.0 count and Included Components 'Paddle', so the two statements do not agree.

**Is the JOOLA set USAPA approved?**

The product name and a bullet both describe it as USAPA approved, and the League Name field reads USAPA. A bullet adds that the outdoor balls are USAPA approved for tournament play.

**What is the paddle face made of?**

The product name and the Frame Material Type field say Fibreglass. The Material Type field instead lists 'Carbon Fibre, Polypropylene', so the listing does not settle which material is the face.

**How heavy is the set?**

The listing gives Item Weight as 454 g. That is well above the roughly 230 g of a single paddle, so it reads as a pair or a box weight rather than the weight of one paddle.

**How is it rated?**

4.6 out of 5 from 721 ratings. The star breakdown supplied with the listing shows 78 five-star, 15 four-star, 4 three-star and 3 one-star, which totals 100 against the 721 in the count.

**Who is it aimed at?**

The Skill Level field reads 'All' and the Age Range Description says Adult. A bullet calls it a paddle for players moving towards more competitive play, while reviews describe it as a starter set.
