The Sunny Health & Fitness Foldable Roman Chair (model SF-BH620062) takes the number one slot in this guide, and it is the record that holds together best. It carries a 4.2 average from 6,989 ratings, a 150 kg maximum user weight, a 16.1 kg item weight and a Best Sellers Rank of 1 in Roman Chairs. It is also the cheapest of the three prices named in this guide's opening at £111.80 — and it carries the biggest capacity badge of the three, 150 kg (about 331 lb) against the 300 lb listed by the £224.31 and £331.64 chairs.

Two details are worth knowing before you buy. The dimensions are listed as 116D x 61W x 76H cm, so the bench wants about 1.16 m of floor depth when it is set up: the fold is for storage, not for training. And the star breakdown in the same record adds up to exactly 100 (61 five-star, 17 four-star, 9 three-star, 5 two-star, 8 one-star), which reads as a percentage split rather than as counts against those 6,989 ratings. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing — we have not assembled or tested the bench.
