The VIAVITO Sumi is our number 6 rower pick and the best compact folding option for small UK homes. It pairs 10 levels of silent magnetic resistance with a 7 kg flywheel and folds down to a 74 cm long bundle with transport wheels. The listing is unusually precise: an 80 cm row length, 178 cm in use, 120 kg maximum user weight and a two year warranty are all stated up front.

The honest limits sit in the numbers: 120 kg capacity is the lowest in this ranking and the 10 levels are fewer than the 16 level rivals, but the build quality, the stated warranty and the comfortable seat are what owners praise. With 268 ratings at 4.3, it is a proven compact machine. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
