This is the Amazon Basics heavy-duty folding camping chair (model AMZ-400-NAM), the blue mesh version with the four-can cooler pouch, cup holder and side pocket, and it takes first place in this guide. At £21.96 it costs more than the two-seat SONGMICS set at £18.69 and less than either Voyager set at £34.99 and £49.99 — and the listing settles what that money buys: the unit count is 1.0 count and the number of items is 1, so £21.96 is the price of a single chair, not a pair.

What the listing does not offer is a ranking to match ours. Amazon places this chair at 43 in Camping Chairs and 6,790 in Sports & Outdoors, while the two Voyager '2-Pack' listings both carry 1 in Camping Chairs. Its rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 9,514 reviews, and 76 of the 100 ratings shown in the breakdown are five-star. Every figure on this page comes from the Amazon listing as it stands; we have not tested the chair ourselves.

## Questions people ask

**Is £21.96 the price for one chair or two?**

One. The Amazon Basics listing gives the unit count as 1.0 count and the number of items as 1, so the price covers a single chair. That is the opposite of the SONGMICS set at £18.69, which is sold as a pair.

**How many cans does the cooler pouch take?**

The listing says the built-in pouch, which hangs from the armrest, holds up to four 354-ml cans. There is also an integrated cup holder and a storage pocket for magazines and personal items.

**Where does the Amazon Basics chair sit in the Amazon rankings?**

The listing shows 43 in Camping Chairs and 6,790 in Sports & Outdoors.

**Does it come with a carry bag, and does it fit in a car?**

Yes — a carry bag is included, and the listing says the collapsible design folds up to fit inside most car trunks.

**What fabric does the AMZ-400-NAM use?**

Polyester mesh panels, for cooling ventilation, in the blue colour the listing describes.

**How much does it weigh?**

The listing gives no weight figure. It describes a heavy-duty steel frame and says the chair is compact when folded, but no kilogram or pound figure appears in the specifications.
