The SONGMICS GCB08BK is the third entry in this guide: a folding chair sold as a set of two, listed at £22.99. That is £11.50 a chair once you do the division the headline price does not do for you — and it is more per chair than the £9.35 that SONGMICS' other two-seat set in this guide works out at from its £18.69 listing. This one carries 4.5 out of 5 from 4,476 ratings, a stated 150 kg maximum load on a steel frame with 0.8 mm tube walls, a 42 x 42 cm seat sitting 43 cm off the floor, a 54 cm backrest, 2.6 kg per chair, and a fold down to 13 x 90 x 13 cm into the transport bag that comes with it.

Two lines in the same listing disagree about how many chairs arrive. The Set Name field reads 'Set of 2' and the Unit Count reads '2.0 count', while the Number of Items field reads '1'. If the pair is the whole reason you are looking at this listing, that is the line to check before ordering. Everything below is taken from the Amazon listing — we have not sat in, folded, weighed or loaded a chair ourselves.
