The Milestone Camping 18949 is a single-burner, gas-powered camping stove in grey, sold with its own carry case and sitting at number 10 in this guide. At £15.99 it is one of the cheaper stoves in the group, and it holds a 4.5 out of 5 rating across 232 reviews. The listing says it is stainless steel plated, measures 34.5 x 28 x 11.3 cm, weighs 1.9 kg and runs on liquefied petroleum gas.

The reason it sits last is the number that leads its listing. Milestone claims 3000 Watts of maximum energy output — higher than the Campingaz at 2200 W, the Green Haven at 2100 W and the Aspect at 2500 W. It is also the only stove of that group whose listing gives no gas consumption figure, no burn time and no boil time. Nothing in the bullets or the specifications lets you check the 3000 W against anything: there is no cylinder size, no runtime, no minutes-to-boil. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from a test we ran.
