The Keplin folds flat to 55x55x28cm and comes with a lid, a carrying bag and a food-safe grill, for £32.99 — 4.4 stars from 89 ratings and 3.5kg of steel.

It is sixth because of two things: 89 ratings is the thinnest sample in this ranking, and its title claims stainless steel 304 while the specification table lists alloy steel with a painted finish. You cannot paint stainless steel, so the table wins, and that tells you what will happen to the finish outdoors.

## Questions people ask

**Is it really stainless steel?**

The title says stainless steel 304 while the specification lists alloy steel with a painted finish. Stainless steel cannot be painted, so the table is more likely to be right.

**Does it come with a cooking grill?**

Yes, a stainless steel grill listed as food-safe and dishwasher-safe, plus a lid and a carrying bag.

**How heavy is it?**

3.5kg, which is light for a 55cm pit and suggests thinner steel than the 10.4kg bowl in first place.

**Can it be used on grass?**

It stands on legs above the ground, which is what keeps grass from scorching, unlike a bowl set straight down.

**Is it good for camping?**

That is its strength: it folds flat, weighs 3.5kg and comes with a bag.

**How many ratings does it have?**

89 at the time of collection, averaging 4.4 stars, with 66 per cent five-star and 2 per cent one-star.
