The HOMCOM 24V Electric Go Kart is the fifth entry in this guide. It is a battery-powered ride-on in green, listed for ages 6-12 years, with a steel frame, a polypropylene body, a seat that moves through three height settings, a horn, music functions, a power indicator and soft-start technology that the listing says stops it jolting forward. The quoted top speed is 12km/h and the price is £233.99.

The numbers in this one listing do not all sit together. It reports an average of 4.1 out of 5 from 40 ratings, but the star breakdown printed underneath it reads 15 one-star, 2 two-star, 8 three-star, 9 four-star and 66 five-star — that adds up to 100, not 40, and 15 one-star ratings inside a set of 40 could not produce a 4.1 average. The seat is described as adjustable between 53cm and 67cm, while the same listing gives the whole kart a height of 53.5cm, so the top of the seat range is above the stated height of the vehicle. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any test of our own.
