The Hyundai HYSC1532E is the corded machine that takes fourth place in our lawn scarifier guide. At £89.99 it is the one here that runs from a 230V mains supply on a 10m cable, so there are no batteries to buy on top of the price and no engine to service. The listing gives it a 1500W motor, a 32cm (320mm) working width for small to medium lawns, four depth settings of -12mm, -8mm, -4mm and +4mm, a 30L fabric collector, foldable handles, thermal cut-out protection and a Hyundai 3-year home-use warranty. It carries 403 ratings at 4.5 out of 5 and sits 3rd in Amazon's Lawn Scarifiers best sellers rank.

Two numbers inside its own listing do not agree. The bullet points say the machine weighs 'just 10.95kg'; the specification line below them says 11.2 kg. There is a similar gap in the product's own name: the title calls it an 'Electric Lawn Scarifier & Aerator' and the third bullet mentions aerating, but the included components are listed as the HYSC1532E scarifier, a collection bag, a scarifying drum attachment, a raking drum attachment and a manual — no aerator drum appears in that list, and the two drums named are for scarifying and raking. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing for this machine; it is not the result of our own testing.
