The MZK 33cm Lawn Scarifier and Aerator is a corded electric machine: a 13 Amp motor quoted at 3700 RPM, a 33 cm working width, four depth settings and a 30 L collection bag. It is number eight in this guide and, at £69.98, the cheapest corded scarifier here — the price gap up to the £164.99 Einhell is bigger than the gap between most of the machines listed above it.

What earns it a place is not the price but the weight. One of its own bullet points says the machine weighs 'just 8.8 kg'; the specification table on the same page gives an item weight of 13 kg. That is 4.2 kg of disagreement inside a single listing, and nothing in the ad explains it. The depth figures have the same problem in miniature: the bullets promise four settings from -12 mm to +4 mm, while the specification fields list a minimum adjustable cutting height of 12 millimetres — the minus sign appears only once. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing for the MZK G-AC2403 and from the reviews shown on it. We have not tested this scarifier.
