The NETTA 1500W Lawn Scarifier and Aerator is a corded 2-in-1 machine: a 1500W motor turning at 3000 RPM, a 32cm working width, four depth settings and a 30L collection box on a 10m cable. At £99.99 it is the least expensive corded model in this guide, and at number 9 it is here because it is the one tool on the list that draws mains power rather than relying on a battery pack — so there is no second battery to buy and no runtime figure to decode.

What the listing does not settle is how deep the drum goes. The bullet points give the four settings as running from -12mm to +4mm, but NETTA's own specification line lists a minimum adjustable cutting height of 12 Millimetres, with no minus sign. Read one line and the deepest setting cuts 12mm below the surface; read the other and 12mm is simply the low end of the range as written. We have not tested this machine, so we cannot tell you which is right. Every figure on this page comes from the Amazon listing as NETTA publishes it, not from our own measurements.

## Questions people ask

**Is the NETTA 1500W corded or cordless?**

Corded. The listing gives the power source as AC and specifies a 10m power cable, so it runs from a mains socket rather than a battery.

**How deep does it scarify?**

The bullet points say the four height settings range from -12mm to +4mm, but the specification line lists a minimum adjustable cutting height of 12 Millimetres with no minus sign. The two lines in the same listing do not agree.

**Does it collect what it lifts?**

Yes — the listing describes a 30L grass box that captures moss, dead grass and debris as you work.

**How much does the NETTA weigh?**

9.1 kg. This is one figure that holds up: the bullet point and the specification line both say 9.1 kg.

**Is it assembled when it arrives?**

The specification field 'Is Assembly Required?' says Yes.

**What warranty is offered?**

NETTA lists a 365-day warranty on the product.
