The Hyundai HYC6200X is a 62cc two-stroke petrol chainsaw with a 20in (50cm) bar, and it takes first place in this guide. It is listed at £109.99 with 4.2 out of 5 from 1,324 ratings, a 3 year Hyundai platinum warranty and two chains in the box.

The interesting part of this fiche is what the numbers do and don't say. The listing claims 3 Horsepower, but that figure appears only in the specification table — the five selling bullets use the word "powerful" three times between them and never attach a number to it. Across the 62cc class this guide covers, the claims run from 3.0 HP to 3.8 HP, so the Hyundai sits at the bottom of that range while running the same engine size as saws claiming 0.8 HP more. The figure that does hold up is the buyer count: 1,324 ratings at 4.2 out of 5, split with 67 in the five-star bar against 11 in the one-star bar — those five bars add up to 100, so read them as proportions of the ratings rather than as counts.

Every specification, price and rating on this page is taken from the Amazon listing. None of it comes from a saw we tested ourselves.

**How have buyers rated the Hyundai HYC6200X?**

4.2 out of 5 from 1,324 ratings. The star breakdown shows 67 in the five-star bar and 11 in the one-star bar, but those five bars total 100 while the headline figure is 1,324, so treat the bars as shares of the ratings rather than as raw counts.
