The SHAYN 58cc petrol chainsaw is the sixth entry in this guide. It is a 58cc two-stroke saw with a 20-inch bar, listed at £106.99 with a 4.6 out of 5 rating from 11 buyers, and it ships with two chains, a mixing bottle, funnel, tool kit, carry bag and user manual.

The listing quotes 3.3 HP, which is worth pausing over on this list's own terms: that figure falls inside the 3.0 to 3.8 HP band the 62cc saws in the guide claim, from an engine 4cc smaller. The same advert also disagrees with itself elsewhere. The title calls it a top handle chain saw; the second bullet says it uses a standard rear handle layout. It is described as low-noise, and then given as tested at 111 dB(A). None of that makes it a bad buy at £106.99, but it is why the bar length, the 6.67 kg weight and the 11 ratings are the safer things to go on. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from a test of our own.
