The Scheppach MP132-42 is a push petrol mower: a 131cc four-stroke engine rated at 3.3HP, a 42cm cutting width, seven cutting heights adjusted centrally from 25mm to 75mm, and a 45L fabric grass collector with a mulching option. It sits at number five of the fifteen petrol mowers in this guide, at £179.00, with 4.6 out of 5 from 159 ratings.

The oddity on this listing is a naming clash rather than a measurement one. The title, the bullets and the spec table agree on the working figures — 42cm cut, seven positions, 25–75mm, 45L collector — but the spec table's Model Number field reads MP132-40, not MP132-42. The dimensions row is also worth a second look: it lists 131D x 47W x 97H centimetres, and that first figure is the same as the engine's cubic capacity. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we have carried out.
