The Scheppach MS132-42 is a self-propelled petrol mower with a 131cc four-stroke engine, a 42cm cutting deck, a 45L fabric grass bag and a mulching function, listed at £199.00. It sits at number 4 of the 15 petrol mowers in this guide, with 4.4 out of 5 from 206 customer ratings.

What puts it here is its own listing rather than the machine's spec sheet. The bullets promise seven cutting heights "between 25mm and 75mm"; the spec table underneath gives a minimum adjustable cutting height of 30mm and a maximum of 66mm, also over 7 positions. That is two different ranges inside one advert. The numbers that identify the machine disagree too: the spec table lists a model number of 5911249903 and a manufacturer part number of 5911250903. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from any testing of our own.
