The Hyundai HYT1050E is a corded electric tiller: 1050W, a 360mm working width, four angled steel teeth and a 10m power cable. It sits at number 5 in this guide. In a list where the cordless machines make runtime claims that do not survive contact with their own battery capacities, this one has nothing to decode — it plugs into the mains, so there is no 3.0Ah against 4.0Ah arithmetic to unpick and no 21V against 20V argument to have. What it does have is 4.6 out of 5 from 534 ratings, and a listing that puts it 14th in Amazon's Cultivators & Tillers category.

The number worth checking on this page is the weight. Hyundai's own bullet point says the machine weighs just 9kg. The specification table on the same listing says 8 kg. A kilogram will not decide the purchase, but it is the same kind of drift as the battery claims elsewhere in the guide: the marketing line and the data table were not written from the same sheet. The figures that do agree with themselves are the ones repeated across title and bullets — 1050W, a 360mm width from four angled teeth, a 220mm depth in the title, and a 3-year manufacturer warranty. As always, everything here is taken from the Amazon listing as it is written, not from a test of our own.

## Questions people ask

**Does the Hyundai HYT1050E run on a battery?**

**How wide a strip does it cultivate?**

The Hyundai listing says four angled teeth cover a width of 360mm, and the product title gives the same 360mm working width.

**How deep does it go?**

The product title states a 220mm depth. One reviewer on the listing reports working ground down to about 20cm, which is close to the 220mm figure.

**How heavy is it?**

The listing disagrees with itself. Hyundai's bullet point says it weighs just 9kg; the specification table gives an item weight of 8 kg.

**What warranty comes with it?**

The title and the manufacturer warranty description both state a 3 year warranty.

**How is it rated by buyers?**

4.6 out of 5 from 534 ratings, with 74 of the 100 ratings broken down in the listing giving it five stars.
