The Alex Tech split loom sleeve is a ten-foot, half-inch cable sleeve for £7.99, rated 4.5 stars from 81,753 ratings — the deepest sample in this ranking and first in Amazon's Cable Sleeves category.

It takes first place because of that evidence and the price, with the caveat the whole category shares: its diameter, 12.7mm, is in the title, while its specification table gives a width without an axis and a fitting that does not exist.

## Questions people ask

**How big a bundle fits?**

12.7mm internal bore, and the sleeve is split so it closes around what you push in; measure before ordering.

**Does it need screws?**

No: the installation type field says screw-in, but a split loom sleeve has no fittings.

**Will it stop cats chewing cables?**

Buyers mention kittens and adult cats specifically, which is what the tubing is for.

**How long is it?**

Ten feet or about three metres.

**Why is it first?**

Because it has twice the evidence of anything else here at £7.99, with the diameter published in the title.

**How many ratings does it have?**

81753 at the time of collection, averaging 4.5 stars, with 68 per cent five-star and 1 per cent one-star.
