The SONGMICS OBG077G01 is a slate grey gaming chair with a footrest, adjustable headrest and lumbar support, listed at £91.79. It takes the number 5 slot in this guide, with a 4.1-out-of-5 rating from 476 ratings and a maximum weight recommendation of 150 kg that appears in both the product name and the specification field — the two places a buyer looks, and on this listing they agree.

The figure that earns it a place here is the seat. The bullet describes a 54 cm wide cushion, 10 cm thick, and says it is wide enough for cross-legged sitting. A £149.99 chair elsewhere in this guide calls a 375 mm (37.5 cm) seat 'roomy'. Put those two numbers next to each other and the adjective does less work than it looks. The weight rating is worth noting too: 150 kg is a figure a chair can plausibly carry, unlike the £89.99 chair in this set whose spec field claims a 1,136 kg maximum weight recommendation. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing — we have not sat in the chair or measured it ourselves.
