The HOMIDEC 100cm L Shaped Gaming Desk is the number four pick in our gaming desk guide. It is the cheapest desk in the running at £54.99, and it carries 4.5 stars from 488 Amazon ratings — a solid record at that price, with the bulk of the ratings sitting at five stars.

The reason it does not rank higher is not the feedback but the measurements. The bullet points on the HOMIDEC listing give the desk as 100 cm (L) x 65 cm (W) x 75 cm (H). The specification table on the same page gives it as 65D x 100W x 91H centimetres, and then lists both 'Minimum Height' and 'Maximum Height' as 94 cm. That is three different heights on one page, with nothing in the listing to say which one you would actually sit at. One thing HOMIDEC does get right: its 'Tabletop Thickness' of 15 mm is a believable thickness for a desk top, not a height field in disguise. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing for this desk; we have not measured or tested it ourselves.
