The Vinsetto is the cheapest chair in this ranking at £37.99: armless, with a mesh back, a 6cm padded seat, a published 85cm to 97cm height range and a six-month warranty, carrying 4.3 stars from 470 ratings.

It is ninth because the seat is thin and the warranty short, but the height range it publishes is the kind of figure the expensive chairs here mostly omit — useful if your desk is an unusual height.
