The CDC 6.6L is a digital steel safe measuring 23 x 17 x 17cm for £25.99, with 4.3 stars from 4,245 ratings, a keypad, two backup keys and expansion bolts.

It takes fourth because of the contradiction in its own listing: the special features field says Portable, which is the most honest description of a 6.6-litre box in this category — and the reason the bolts matter more than the steel.

## Questions people ask

**What does Portable mean here?**

It is the listing's own special-features entry for a 6.6-litre steel safe: a box this size can be picked up and taken.

**Should I use the bolts?**

Yes: they are the only thing preventing the whole safe from leaving, which is why they are supplied.

**What fits inside?**

Documents, a passport and cash, on one shelf inside 6.6 litres.

**Is it fireproof?**

No, and the listing does not claim it is.

**Why is it fourth?**

Because the evidence is good but the product's own description says portable, and 8 per cent of its ratings are one-star.

**How many ratings does it have?**

4245 at the time of collection, averaging 4.3 stars, with 67 per cent five-star and 8 per cent one-star.
