## Questions people ask

**Is it really fireproof?**

The listing says so and quotes no standard. Fire-rated safes have an insulating layer and a tested rating; at £23.44 treat the claim as unmeasured.

**What does 0.3 cubic feet mean?**

About 8.5 litres, the same capacity the title quotes in litres.

**Will it survive water?**

The listing claims waterproofing without a depth or duration.

**Should I bolt it down?**

Yes: it weighs little and can be carried otherwise.

**Why is it eighth?**

Because the box is ordinary and the three claims are not backed by a standard.

**How many ratings does it have?**

330 at the time of collection, averaging 4.4 stars, with 72 per cent five-star and 6 per cent one-star.
