The Requisite Needs tin is a 15.2 x 12.7cm steel cash box weighing 345 grams, for £12.10, with 4.6 stars from 1,232 ratings and only 2 per cent one-star — the best record in this ranking.

It takes fifth because it is a tin rather than a safe, and first in its own category. For petty cash and coins it does the organising job that a bolted box does not.

## Questions people ask

**Is it a safe?**

No, it is a cash tin that comes first in Amazon's cash box category. It has a lock, not a defence.

**What fits inside?**

Notes and coins in a two-compartment tray, including a £50 note according to a reviewer.

**How heavy is it?**

345g, which is why it is the lightest thing here.

**Does the tray stay put?**

One reviewer says the top section falls down often; the tin still works.

**Why is it fifth?**

Because it is the best-reviewed and cheapest box here, and a tin rather than a safe.

**How many ratings does it have?**

1232 at the time of collection, averaging 4.6 stars, with 73 per cent five-star and 2 per cent one-star.
