The DEWALT DWE4036-GB is a corded 115mm angle grinder with a 750W motor, listed at £59.99 and sitting ninth in this guide. In a round-up where three cordless models carry power figures no 18V battery could produce — 3,600 W and 1,000 horsepower on one DEWALT, 4 horsepower on a Ryobi, and 800 sitting in both the wattage and the horsepower fields on a Bosch — this is one of only three mains models quoting a wattage a domestic socket can actually deliver.

The listing's own numbers do not fully agree with each other either. It states 4.4 out of 5 from 40 ratings, while the star breakdown on the same page runs 4, 3, 8, 10 and 75 — which adds to 100, not 40. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing; we have not tested the tool ourselves.
