The Kinderkraft ZIKI is one of the cheaper playpens in this guide and it sits at number 8. It is a grey foldable playpen with a steel frame, mesh sides and a zip side entrance, listed at £50.15 with a rating of 4.6 from 148 reviews.

The number that matters here is the floor. The listing gives an assembled size of 126.5 x 126.5 cm, which is 1.60 m² — about £31 for every square metre of play space. The 'XXL' playpen priced at £139.79 in this guide is listed at 90 x 90 cm, or 0.81 m², which is roughly £173 per square metre, so the cheaper pen gives about twice the floor. The ZIKI's own listing is not perfectly consistent either: one bullet says a carry bag is included, while the 'Included Components' field reads 'no'. The review breakdown supplied adds up to 100 ratings, 79 of them five-star, against the 148 reviews shown. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out.
