# Best Bedside Tables 2026: 10 Ranked, and Two Cost £22.99 Source: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables Published: 2026-09-19 | Updated: 2026-09-19 | Prices checked on Amazon UK on 2026-09-19 Two of the bedside tables in this guide cost exactly £22.99, and they do not buy the same amount of furniture. The SONGMICS BELLAH listing is a 'Set of 1' with Number of Items: 1. The YMYNY fluted listing is a 'Set of 2' with Number of Items: 2, at the same price. Higher up, the single VASAGLE slim table is £30.99 and the pair with 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C port in each is £39.09, so £8.10 buys a second table plus the charging ports. Meanwhile, the tabletop-thickness field is in the wrong unit on three listings — 41 cm, 53 cm and 30 cm. The same brand's 3-drawer pair lists 15 mm and the Somdot lists 1.5 cm, which means those figures are millimetres typed as centimetres. Two bedside tables for the price of one, or one table whose spec sheet contradicts itself: both are worth checking before you buy. We ranked ten of the best bedside table options on Amazon on four things: cost per table, how many tables are actually in the box, the stated load limits, and whether the specification fields agree with each other. Star ratings and review counts break ties, which is why a 4.6 from 134 reviews sits below a 4.5 from 10,372. ## The ranking ### 1. VASAGLE KAILYN Slim Bedside Tables, Set of 2, USB-A + USB-C - Price: £39.09 | Amazon rating: 4.5 from 1,288 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/vasagle-slim-bedside-tables-pair - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DT5WL1GH?tag=ranked10-21 Two bedside tables for £39.09 — each one 30 x 25 x 59.5 cm, with 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C port and a 45.4 kg tabletop limit. This is first because £39.09 buys the pair, and the same brand's single slim table sits further down at £30.99. That gap is £8.10 for a second table and the charging ports on top of it. In practice you also get 1,288 ratings at 4.5, the largest review base of any set of two bedside tables here. Each table measures 30 x 25 x 59.5 cm, so the footprint is small but the height is not — 59.5 cm suits most bed frames. The frame is particleboard and MDF with a painted white finish, and VASAGLE states 45.4 kg for the tabletop and 4.5 kg per drawer. One USB-A and one USB-C port sit on each table, which means both sides of the bed charge at once rather than one. That said, 25 cm of width is genuinely narrow. A large lamp plus a book plus a glass will not all fit on the top. Worth noting too: the tabletop thickness field reads 30 centimetres, which cannot be right on a 59.5 cm tall table — treat that figure as unreliable rather than as a feature. Pros: £39.09 for two tables — £8.10 more than the single £30.99 version; 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C port in each table, so both sides of the bed charge; 45.4 kg tabletop limit and 4.5 kg per drawer, stated by the brand; 1,288 ratings at 4.5 stars, the biggest review base among the sets here; 30 x 25 cm footprint fits beside a bed without eating floor space Cons: Only 25 cm wide, so the top holds a lamp or a book, not both plus a drink; Tabletop thickness listed as 30 centimetres, which contradicts a 59.5 cm table; 13 kg for the pair means roughly 6.5 kg each — light panels; Assembly required, and you need your own screwdriver ### 2. Amazon Basics Round Bedside Table with Fabric Basket, White - Price: £23.99 | Amazon rating: 4.5 from 10,372 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/amazon-basics-round-bedside-table - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TWXS5Y6?tag=ranked10-21 A 45 x 45 x 48 cm round tray table at £23.99 with a removable fabric basket and 10,372 ratings. Second place on review volume: 10,372 ratings at 4.5 is more than every other product on this page put together. At £23.99 it is also one of the two cheapest single-table options. The catch is what you get for the money — a metal frame, a recessed tray top and a fabric bin, not a drawer. The table is 45 x 45 x 48 cm and weighs 2.21 kg, so moving it is a one-person job. The top is a recessed metal tray, which stops a mug sliding off, and the linen-look bin sits underneath on a 4-point base. Amazon Basics states 20.9 kg as the maximum recommendation, which is plenty for a lamp, a book and a tablet. However, the storage is a bin, not a drawer — everything in it is visible, and there is no second level. The listing also says assembly tools are not included, and the depth field reads 18 inches while every other measurement is metric. If you want a bedside cabinet with drawers, this is the wrong shape. Pros: 10,372 ratings at 4.5 — more than every other product here combined; £23.99, one of the two lowest prices on this page; 2.21 kg, light enough to move between rooms without help; Recessed metal tray top stops a mug or a plant sliding off; Stated 20.9 kg maximum, enough for a lamp, book and tablet Cons: The lower storage is an open fabric bin, not a drawer; Listing states that assembly tools are not included; Depth field reads 18 inches while all other measurements are metric; 48 cm tall, which sits low beside a high divan base ### 3. Somdot Bedside Cabinet with 2 Fabric Drawers, White - Price: £24.99 | Amazon rating: 4.5 from 4,030 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/somdot-white-bedside-table - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CC2FWZKT?tag=ranked10-21 £24.99 for a 30 x 42 x 50 cm nightstand with two fabric drawers, a 1.5 cm top board and FSC-certified wood. Third because it is the cheapest table here with two drawers: £24.99 against the £22.99 SONGMICS single, and the Somdot gives you a 42 cm wide top rather than 39.6 cm. Height is 50 cm, and the listing says it suits beds between 40 and 60 cm tall. In practice the construction is a steel frame with a wood top, adjustable feet and two fabric drawers; the stated drawer size is 27.5 x 36.5 x 21 cm, enough for a tablet and a paperback. The tabletop thickness reads 1.5 cm, one of only two figures on this page printed in the correct unit — the 15 mm on the £67.99 VASAGLE pair is the other. At the same time, 3.8 kg is light, and fabric drawers will not take the weight a solid wood drawer would. The maximum weight recommendation is given as 94.8 pounds, in imperial, while every dimension is in centimetres. If you want a heavy wooden bedside cabinet, this is not it. Pros: £24.99 is the lowest price here for a table with two drawers; 42 cm wide top — 2.4 cm wider than the SONGMICS single at similar money; FSC-certified wood, stated on the listing; Steel frame, adjustable feet and a wood top at 3.8 kg; Drawer size given as 27.5 x 36.5 x 21 cm Cons: Fabric drawers will not carry the load a solid drawer does; 3.8 kg total means a light frame; Maximum weight is given in pounds (94.8 lb) while dimensions are metric; Only 50 cm tall, so check it clears your mattress line ### 4. VASAGLE KAILYN Narrow Bedside Table with 2 Drawers, White - Price: £30.99 | Amazon rating: 4.4 from 2,345 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/vasagle-kailyn-slim-bedside-table - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CV7ZXF6H?tag=ranked10-21 The single version of the number-one set: £30.99 for a 30 x 25 x 65 cm narrow bedside table with 2 drawers and a reversible open compartment. Fourth, and the direct comparison for first place. This is the same KAILYN range in single form: £30.99 for one 65 cm tall unit against £39.09 for two at 59.5 cm. Crucially, you pay about 79% of the pair price for half the furniture and no charging ports. The 30 x 25 x 65 cm frame carries a 45.4 kg tabletop limit and 4.5 kg per drawer, matching the £39.09 pair. The difference is layout: 2 drawers plus an open compartment you can mount facing left or right, which helps when the table sits on one side of the bed. At 8.36 kg it is a heavier single unit than the Somdot's 3.8 kg. Even so, £30.99 for one narrow bedside table is more per unit than most sets here. The tabletop thickness field reads 41 centimetres, wider than the table itself — another figure that is millimetres mistyped. Skip it if a 25 cm top is too small for what you keep beside the bed. Pros: 2 drawers plus an open compartment that can face left or right; 45.4 kg tabletop limit, matching the more expensive pair; 8.36 kg — a heavier single unit than the Somdot's 3.8 kg; 65 cm tall, the second tallest table here; 2,345 ratings at 4.4 Cons: £30.99 for one table is more per unit than most pairs here; Tabletop thickness reads 41 centimetres, wider than the table itself; 25 cm wide — little room for a lamp and a book together; No charging ports at this price ### 5. SONGMICS BELLAH Bedside Table with 2 Drawers, Set of 1 - Price: £22.99 | Amazon rating: 4.3 from 364 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/songmics-bellah-bedside-table - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F93F8CJM?tag=ranked10-21 £22.99 for a single 30 x 39.6 x 52.2 cm table — the same price as the YMYNY set of two further down, and this one ships as one item. Fifth, and the anomaly in the middle of this list. £22.99 is the joint-lowest price here, but the listing says 'Set of 1', Number of Items: 1 and Number of Pieces: 1. The YMYNY set at number ten costs exactly the same £22.99 and is a set of two. For £22.99 you are buying one table here, not two. What you get is a 30 x 39.6 x 52.2 cm frame in steel, particleboard and textile, with 2 drawers reinforced with MDF. SONGMICS states 30 kg for the top and 5 kg per drawer, plus adjustable feet and an anti-tip kit. At 52.2 cm tall, check it clears your mattress base. That said, 364 ratings is the smallest review base in the top five, and the drawer fronts are fabric. If you want a bedside cabinet that matches a chest of drawers in the same BELLAH range, fine. If you want two bedside tables for the money, the YMYNY pair below does that instead. Pros: £22.99 — joint-lowest price on the page; 2 drawers plus a 30 x 39.6 cm top; SONGMICS states 30 kg for the top and 5 kg per drawer; Anti-tip kit and adjustable feet included; Best Sellers Rank: 10 in Bedside Tables Cons: Set of 1, Number of Items: 1 — you get one table, not a pair; 364 ratings is the smallest review base in the top five; 4.3 stars is the lowest score in the top five; Fabric drawer fronts, not wood ### 6. VASAGLE KAILYN Bedside Tables Set of 2 with Power Strip - Price: £67.99 | Amazon rating: 4.5 from 614 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/vasagle-kailyn-bedside-tables - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CFV2QJD2?tag=ranked10-21 £67.99 for two 35 x 40 x 59 cm bedside tables, each with 2 AC outlets, 2 USB ports, a 1.5 m cord and 3 drawers. Sixth on price: £67.99 is £28.90 more than the £39.09 pair at the top. What that buys is a built-in power strip in each table — 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports, with a 1.5 m extension cord — plus a third drawer per table. Each table is 35 x 40 x 59 cm with three bevelled drawers, and the panels are 15 mm particleboard. VASAGLE states 62 kg per table, the highest tabletop limit on this page. The power strip means a lamp, a phone and a laptop can all run from the table rather than from a wall socket behind the bed. However, the weight field reads 4.54 kg for a set of two three-drawer tables, while the £39.09 pair is listed at 13 kg. Either the figure is per table or it is wrong. Also note that this is a bedside table with charging station in the literal sense — built in, so a failed port is not a £10 replacement. Pros: 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports in each table, plus a 1.5 m cord; 3 drawers per table — one more than the £39.09 pair; 62 kg tabletop limit per table, the highest stated here; 15 mm particleboard, stated in the correct unit; 614 ratings at 4.5 Cons: £67.99 is £28.90 more than the £39.09 pair; Weight field reads 4.54 kg for a set of two, against 13 kg for the cheaper pair; Charging station is built in, so a failed port is not a cheap fix; 35 cm deep, so it needs more floor space than a 30 cm unit ### 7. Brinlawb Bedside Tables Set of 2 with LED Lights and Charging - Price: £59.99 | Amazon rating: 4.4 from 514 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/brinlawb-bedside-tables-set-2 - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FBF9L1MX?tag=ranked10-21 £59.99 for two oak-and-white tables with 2 sockets, USB-A and USB-C in each, an LED strip and a 5 cm guard rail. Seventh. £59.99 sits between the £39.09 VASAGLE pair and the £67.99 pair with power strips, and it is the only set of bedside tables here with a raised edge: a 5 cm guard rail on three sides, which stops a glass or a phone sliding off the top overnight. Each table measures 35 x 40 x 58 cm in MDF with an oak and white finish. The charging station is flush-mounted into the tabletop and carries two three-pin sockets, one USB-A and one USB-C. The LED strip sits in the open compartment and the listing claims over 60,000 colours, controlled from your phone. At 22 kg for the pair, this is the heaviest set here, so expect solid panels. That said, 22 kg is a lot to move on your own, and the flush charging plate sits exactly where a spilled drink would land. The 514 ratings at 4.4 are solid but well short of the top two. If you want plain furniture without lights, you are paying for a feature you will not use. Pros: 5 cm guard rail on three sides to stop items falling; 2 three-pin sockets, 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C in each tabletop; 22 kg for the pair — the heaviest set here; All assembly tools included; 40 x 35 x 58 cm per table; 514 ratings at 4.4 Cons: £59.99 for two, £20.90 more than the VASAGLE pair; LED strip claims over 60,000 colours — a feature, not a need; 22 kg is heavy to move alone; Flush charging plate sits in the tabletop where spills happen ### 8. SONGMICS BELLAH Nightstand Set of 2 with App-Controlled LED - Price: £56.99 | Amazon rating: 4.4 from 135 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/songmics-bellah-bedside-table-pair - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GTPWNPZH?tag=ranked10-21 £56.99 for two 30 x 39.6 x 60.4 cm nightstands with 2 AC outlets, 2 USB-A, 1 USB-C and app-controlled LED lighting. Eighth. £56.99 for two tables is £3 less than the oak set above and gives each side 2 AC outlets, 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port — one more USB-A per table than the oak set. Review volume is the trade-off: 135 ratings against 514. The frame is steel with a particleboard top at 30 x 39.6 x 60.4 cm, tall enough for most divan bases. SONGMICS states 30 kg for the open shelf and 5 kg per drawer, and the box includes 2 nightstands, 2 anti-tip kits and instructions. The LED is app-controlled, which means colour and brightness live on your phone, not on a remote. In theory the app adds automation; in practice a dead phone means no light control. The item weight is listed as 4.7 kg while the components list clearly says two nightstands. Even so, 135 reviews at 4.4 is a thin base for a £57 purchase. If you want proven reliability, the top two have far more data behind them. Pros: 2 AC, 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C per table — one USB-A more than the oak set; App-controlled LED with colour and brightness adjustment; 30 kg shelf and 5 kg per drawer; Two anti-tip kits included in the box; 60.4 cm tall, the tallest table on this page Cons: 135 ratings at 4.4 is a thin base for a £56.99 purchase; LED control depends on your phone and the app; Weight field reads 4.7 kg while the box lists two nightstands; £3 less than the oak pair but with a fifth of the reviews ### 9. LOAKEKEL Small Bedside Table with Charging Station and LED - Price: £35.99 | Amazon rating: 4.6 from 134 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/loakekel-bedside-table-charging - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FG2SSV5T?tag=ranked10-21 £35.99 for a single 30 x 40 x 60 cm small bedside table with 4 tiers, 2 fabric drawers, 2 AC outlets, 2 USB ports and LED lights. Ninth, and the most expensive per unit here in real terms: £35.99 for one table when £39.09 buys two from VASAGLE. It has the best rating on the page at 4.6, but from only 134 reviews, so that score carries less weight than a 4.5 from 10,372. The specification is generous for the money: a 30 x 40 x 60 cm particleboard frame on carbon metal, four tiers of storage, two fabric drawers with handles, 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports, plus adjustable LED lighting. The stated maximum weight is 50 kg, second only to the £67.99 pair. Assembly is quoted at 30 minutes with tools included. However, the fields contradict each other. The table is 30 cm deep and 40 cm wide, yet 'Item Depth' reads 40 centimetres. The listing also claims indoor and outdoor usage and a lifetime warranty, neither of which fits a fabric-drawer bedside cabinet. Buy it for the storage, not the spec sheet. Pros: 4.6 stars — the highest rating on this page; Four tiers of storage plus 2 fabric drawers; 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports, plus adjustable LED lighting; 50 kg maximum weight, second only to the £67.99 pair; Assembly quoted at 30 minutes with tools included Cons: £35.99 for one table, when £39.09 buys two; Item Depth reads 40 cm on a table that is 30 cm deep and 40 cm wide; 134 reviews is a small sample for a 4.6 rating; Listed as both indoor and outdoor use, and with a lifetime warranty ### 10. YMYNY Fluted Bedside Tables Set of 2, White and Natural - Price: £22.99 | Amazon rating: 4.1 from 196 ratings - Full review: https://www.ranked10.co.uk/home/best-bedside-tables/ymyny-fluted-nightstand-pair - Buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FT133RH6?tag=ranked10-21 £22.99 for two 27 x 35 x 53 cm fluted tables with one drawer each — the same price as the single SONGMICS table at number five. Tenth, and the price story of the whole page. Two bedside tables for £22.99 here, when the SONGMICS at number five charges the same for one. That said, the rating tells the other half: 4.1 from 196 reviews is the lowest score on this list, and 12 of those reviews are one-star. Construction is particleboard with solid pine legs, a fluted door panel, one drawer per table and a retaining chain. The stated maximum weight recommendation is 30 kg. At 8.5 kg for the pair, that is roughly 4.25 kg per table — light, but normal at this price. Worth noting the tabletop thickness field reads 53 centimetres, the same as the table's own height — millimetres typed as centimetres, as on two other listings here. By contrast, the single drawer gives you less hidden storage than the Somdot's two fabric drawers for £2 more. If you want a pair cheaply and can accept the lower rating, this is the one. Pros: £22.99 for two tables — the same price as the single SONGMICS at number five; Fluted door panel and solid pine legs; 27 x 35 x 53 cm fits tight gaps beside a bed; One drawer per table with a retaining chain; 30 kg stated maximum weight Cons: 4.1 stars from 196 reviews — the lowest rating here; 12 of those 196 reviews are one-star; Tabletop thickness reads 53 centimetres, the same as the table height; One drawer per table is less hidden storage than the Somdot's two at £2 more ## Verdict Most homes should start at the top: £39.09 for two slim bedside tables with a USB-A and a USB-C port in each is the best value here, and it is only £8.10 more than the single £30.99 version. If you need maximum tabletop strength, the £67.99 pair states 62 kg per table and adds a built-in power strip with 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports. If you simply want two decent bedside tables for the least money, the £22.99 YMYNY pair costs the same as the single SONGMICS table at number five, although its 4.1 rating from 196 reviews is the lowest here. In short, check whether the listing says 'Set of 1' or 'Set of 2' before you judge the price — that is where these lists mislead most.
