The CAIYUN 9-drawer chest sits tenth in our guide to chests of drawers. It is the lightest construction in the list: a metal frame with nine non-woven fabric drawers, listed at £69.99 and rated 4.4 out of 5 from 218 ratings. CAIYUN markets it as a bedroom dresser that can double as a hallway organiser or a TV stand, and it arrives flat, with assembly required.

The dimension line is where this listing earns its place. It reads 100D x 30W x 98.7H cm — a depth of 100 cm on a unit whose width is 30 cm and whose height is 98.7 cm. Read literally, the chest is deeper than it is tall and more than three times deeper than it is wide, which is not the shape a nine-drawer dresser usually takes, and the 100 cm figure matches nothing else in the listing except, roughly, the height. Two more numbers on the same page do not settle either. The rating line quotes 218 ratings, while the star breakdown adds up to 100 (71 five-star, 13 four-star, 10 three-star, 1 two-star, 5 one-star). And the bullets describe a metal frame with non-woven fabric drawers, while the specification table gives the material as wood with a wooden finish. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from any test of ours.

## Questions people ask

**How deep is the CAIYUN 9-drawer chest?**

The listing states 100D x 30W x 98.7H cm, repeated in the Size field as 100 x 30 x 98.7 cm, so the depth slot reads 100 cm while the width slot reads 30 cm. That depth is close to the 98.7 cm height and more than three times the width, so measure your space against the shape rather than the single figure.

**How many drawers does it have?**

Nine. The title, the Number of Drawers field and the model CY-9C-39-VT-UK all describe a nine-drawer unit. The listing does not state a weight limit for any drawer.

**Is it solid wood?**

The listing contradicts itself. The bullet text describes a metal frame with high-quality non-woven fabric, while the specification table lists the material as Wood, the finish as Wooden and the furniture finish as Brown.

**Do I have to build it?**

Yes. The Is Assembly Required? field says Yes. CAIYUN's bullet text says the dresser is designed for easy assembly even for someone who is not a DIY expert, but no build time is given.

**Does it come with a warranty?**

The listing's manufacturer warranty description reads "No warranty."

**Does it include shelves?**

The Included Components field says Shelves and Number Of Shelves says 3, although the product is described throughout as a nine-drawer chest. The listing does not show where those shelves fit.
