The Kinderkraft SOFI is a 4-in-1 travel cot at £129.00, sixth in our cot bed guide. It carries 4.7 out of 5 from 1,475 ratings, and 82% of the rating histogram sits at five stars — with no two-star band at all. The listing describes it as a baby cot, travel cot, playpen and crib in one, with two mattress levels, mesh sides, and a rocking frame that can be locked static or left to rock. The maximum weight recommendation is 15 kg, dropping to 9 kg when the mattress is on the highest level.

The contradiction in this fiche is about assembly. The 'Assembly Required' field says Yes. The assembly instructions description for the same product reads 'No assembly required. The cot comes pre-assembled.' Both sit on the same listing and no third field settles it. The bullets carry a second oddity: a Polish fragment, 'Złożysz je w kilka sekund na płask', sits inside an English sentence about folding flat in a few seconds. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out ourselves.

## Questions people ask

**Does the Kinderkraft SOFI need assembling?**

The listing answers that twice and differently. The 'Assembly Required' field says Yes; the assembly instructions description says 'No assembly required. The cot comes pre-assembled.'

**How much weight will the SOFI take?**

15 kg in total, and 9 kg when the mattress is on the highest level, according to the listing.

**How many mattress levels does it have?**

Two. The highest level is for newborn babies and has a storage compartment underneath; the lowest turns the cot into a playpen.

**Can it be used as a playpen or a rocking crib?**

Yes. Kinderkraft lists it as a cot, travel cot, playpen and crib in one, with a rocking frame that locks static or can be left unlocked.

**What comes in the box?**

A baby lounger, a play arch with toys and a mosquito net, per the included components field — even though the number of items is listed as 1.

**How is the cover cleaned?**

The cover is easy-clean fabric and can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
