The Obaby Fibre Cot Bed Mattress is a 140 x 70 cm cot bed mattress priced at £39.00, sitting at number 7 in this guide. It carries a 4.5 rating from 61 ratings, and Obaby lists it as Firm, with 2 layers, a polyester cover and a fibre fill.

Two things on its own page do not line up. The dimensions field reads '140L x 10W x 70Th centimetres', while the size field says 140x70 cm and the thickness field says 10 centimetres — so the width and thickness labels appear to be swapped. The star breakdown also adds up to more than the stated total: 73 five-star, 13 four-star, 11 three-star and 3 one-star comes to 100, not 61. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we carried out.

## Questions people ask

**What size cot bed is the Obaby Fibre Mattress made for?**

Obaby lists it as a 140 x 70 cm mattress and says it is designed to fit most 140 x 70 cm cot beds, providing a snug and secure sleeping surface.

**How firm is it?**

The listing's firmness field says Firm, and Obaby describes it as providing the ideal level of firmness for safe sleep from newborn to toddler years.

**Do the dimensions in the listing agree with each other?**

No. The size field says 140x70 cm and the thickness field says 10 centimetres, but the dimensions field reads '140L x 10W x 70Th centimetres', so the width and thickness labels do not match the rest of the page.

**How many layers does the Obaby Fibre Mattress have?**

The listing states 2 layers. Obaby's bullets describe a durable fibre construction that maintains shape over time, without giving a layer count.

**Can the cover be washed?**

Obaby's care bullet says simply to spot clean or air it, and the cover material is listed as Polyester. The listing does not describe a removable washable cover, although one customer review mentions a washable sheet already protecting the mattress.

**What is the rating and how many people gave it?**

4.5 out of 5 from 61 ratings, though the star breakdown shown on the same page adds up to 100.
