## Is the Klihome Wide Padded Dining Chairs worth buying?

Yes, the Klihome Wide Padded Dining Chairs are worth buying at £93.48 for four if you want velvet seats at £23.37 each and your table sits on the low side. They score 4.6 from 262 owners, and that is a solid record for a velvet chair at this money.

They are the wrong buy if your table is a standard 75 cm one and the people sitting at it are tall. The seat sits 44 cm off the floor, the lowest of the ten sets we ranked, so a tall adult ends up sitting well below the table edge. For a standard-height table with tall diners, the mcc direct White Dining Chairs at a 46 cm seat are the better match.

## What is the seat height of the Klihome dining chairs?

The seat sits 44 cm off the floor, the lowest of the ten sets we ranked, and that one measurement decides where these chairs belong. Most adults are comfortable at a 72 to 75 cm table with a 44 to 46 cm seat, but the lower you sit, the more your knees tip up towards the apron, so this set suits a table at the lower end of that range or a shorter sitter.

Per chair, the arithmetic is £93.48 divided by four, which is £23.37. That puts the set mid-table against the four-seat options we ranked: the mcc direct White four comes to £17.50 a chair, £5.87 less, and the VASAGLE Velvet four lands at £23.00, 37p less. The black velvet shell and the 37 cm backrest are what the small premium buys.

## What comes in the box with the Klihome dining chairs?

Four chairs arrive flat packed with an illustrated instruction manual and clearly labelled parts, and setting up the whole set takes about 30 minutes. Each chair measures 50.5 cm deep, 44 cm wide and 80.5 cm tall, with a 44 x 39 cm seat and a 37 cm backrest.

The armless shape is the detail that earns its keep in a small room: at 50.5 cm deep each chair slides under the table and out of the way. Four crossed metal legs with non-slip feet carry the frame, the rear feet adjust to level the chair on uneven ground, and the velvet surface takes a wipe for everyday marks.

## What are the downsides of the Klihome dining chairs?

The build is the longest on our list at about 30 minutes for the set, against roughly five minutes a chair for the VASAGLE Velvet four. Have a clear floor and a screwdriver ready before the boxes land.

The seat is 39 cm deep, shallower than the 44 cm it is wide, so a tall adult gets less thigh support than on a deeper chair. Black velvet also collects dust and pet hair where you can see it, and a vacuum brush head handles that far better than a cloth.

## How does the Klihome chair compare with other velvet dining chairs?

Against the mcc direct White Dining Chairs at £69.99 for four, this set costs £23.49 more in total, or £5.87 a chair. The mcc direct chairs sit at a 46 cm seat height, 2 cm higher, so they line up with a standard table more naturally, while the Klihome pairs its low seat with velvet and a sponge-filled pad.

Against the VASAGLE Velvet Dining Chairs at £91.99 for four, this set costs £1.49 more. The VASAGLE builds in about five minutes a chair and carries a two-year manufacturer warranty, while this one asks for 30 minutes and takes the lower seat. Choose the Klihome for a low table, a kitchen island or a bedroom corner; choose the VASAGLE for a formal dining room and a fast build.

**What are the dimensions of the Klihome Wide Padded Dining Chair?**

**Can I use the Klihome dining chairs outdoors?**

No, they are indoor furniture. The velvet seat and matte metal frame are meant for a dining room, kitchen, bedroom, lounge or reception area, not for a patio or garden.

**Do the Klihome dining chairs sit flat on an uneven floor?**

Yes. The four crossed metal legs carry non-slip feet that protect hard floors and cut noise, and the rear feet adjust so the chair levels out on uneven ground.
