The Bed Centre Charcoal Plush Fabric Divan Base Plus Matching Headboard is the £175 entry at number 6 in this guide. For that money the listing's single bullet promises two things: a solid timber divan base 30.5cm high, and a matching padded headboard, upholstered in plush velvet. That is the base-plus-headboard arrangement, so it sits between the £94 base-only listing and the £349 package at the top of the price band. Nothing in the bullet, and nothing in the Included Components field, mentions a mattress.

Where the listing stops agreeing with itself is the count. The Number of Items field says 3, while Included Components reads "Single Base Headboard" — two objects named, with no third described anywhere on the page. The Size field says Double and the model number carries 46, but the Compatible With Mattress Size field on the same listing says queen. The Item Dimensions field gives 135cm width, which is 4ft6, so the sizing vocabulary is not the only thing doubling up. The maximum weight recommendation, meanwhile, is listed as 47.5 kilograms. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing itself, not from any test we ran.
