Bed Centre's Platinum divan is the cheapest way into this top ten at £144 for the 3FT single — a plush-fabric base with a matching headboard and storage drawers. It ranks tenth because the page is a choose-your-own-variation listing rather than a fixed bundle: the same page covers 3FT single, 4FT small double, 4FT6 double, 5FT king and 6FT super king, with two or four drawers, and the price moves with whichever option you tick. Its 4.0 out of 5 comes from 300 ratings, and the split is top-heavy — of the 100 ratings in the star breakdown, 58 are five-star and 11 are one-star.

The wrinkle is what this particular version contains. The title and the spec sheet both imply the headboard and drawers come with it: Included Components reads "Divan Base Drawers and Headboard" and the Set Name reads "2 Drawers & Headboard". Yet the bullets tell you the opposite — "If you want drawers/headboard or not" — and ask you to select the variation type yourself. The same sheet lists Number of Items as 2 while Unit Count is 1.0 count and Number of Packs is 1, and the finish is described both as grey plush and as charcoal plush. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from a bed we bought and slept on.

## Questions people ask

**What exactly arrives with the 3FT single at £144?**

The listing contradicts itself. The spec sheet says Included Components are "Divan Base Drawers and Headboard" and the Set Name is "2 Drawers & Headboard", but the bullets say you must select the variation type yourself: "If you want drawers/headboard or not".

**Is a mattress included?**

No mattress is named anywhere in the Bed Centre Platinum listing, and the Included Components field names only the base, the drawers and the headboard.

**How many items come in the delivery?**

The listing gives two answers: Number of Items is 2, while Unit Count is 1.0 count and Number of Packs is 1. One reviewer reports the headboard arriving separately, about two days after the base.

**What sizes and drawer options does Bed Centre offer on this page?**

Five sizes — 3FT single, 4FT small double, 4FT6 double, 5FT king and 6FT super king — and the drawers are chosen through the variation option, in two or four drawers.

**What is the headboard made of?**

The Headboard Material field says charcoal plush fabric, the Materials and bullets say grey plush, and the Colour field simply says grey.

**How is it rated?**

4.0 out of 5 from 300 ratings. Of the 100 ratings in the star breakdown, 58 are five-star and 11 are one-star.
