The Mira Vie is a wall-mounted electric shower in chrome, listed at £147.59 and sitting at number 4 in this guide. The listing gives it 4.6 out of 5 from 275 ratings, a Best Sellers Rank of 13,018 in DIY & Tools and 94 in Handheld Showers, and a model number of 1.1788.513.

Its place here is a slightly awkward one. The Mira Vie arrives behind three Triton listings that all cost more than it does — £165.99, £188.99 and £189.49 — and it is the one unit named in this guide whose headline wattage is not contradicted anywhere else in its own listing: the title says 9.5 kW, and no bullet, specification or description field gives a different figure. That is the absence of a contradiction, not a test result. Everything on this page is what the Amazon listing states: the price, the ratings, the bullet points and the specifications are the seller's, not our measurements, and the 'up to 50 Percent reduction in limescale' claim comes with no baseline figure to check it against. The star breakdown supplied with the listing is worth a look too — it adds up to 100 reviews, not the 275 quoted above it.
