The Triton Collection 2 in gloss white is the 8.5kW electric shower listed at £189.49, sixth in this guide. On this listing the wattage is at least consistent with itself: the title says 8.5 KW, the first bullet calls it "the Collection 2 8.5 KW electric shower unit", and the Item Type Name field reads "Triton Collection II Electric Shower Gloss White 8.5kW". The 4.3-star rating is drawn from 299 ratings, although the star breakdown on the same page accounts for only 100 of them (67 at five stars, 17 at four, 8 at three, 2 at two, 6 at one).

The two numbers that matter here are the price and the rank. This unit is £189.49, £23.50 more than the listing titled "9.5 KW" at £165.99, yet both carry the identical Best Sellers Rank of 26,985 in DIY & Tools and 161 in Handheld Showers. Two genuinely different showers do not share a rank to the digit, which is the clearest sign that one unit is being sold under two titles - and that the dearer of the two titles is not the more powerful one. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as published; we have not tested this shower ourselves.
