The Govee LED Floor Lamp is the lamp at the top of this guide. It is a black RGBIC corner lamp that the listing says works with Alexa and Matter, and it carries the strongest rating of the ten entries: 4.6 out of 5 from 1,662 ratings. At £89.99 it is also the dearest single lamp in the guide — the EDISHINE two-pack works out at £33.25 per lamp, so this one costs nearly three times as much per light.

That is where the numbers start to pull apart. Govee's own spec table lists "Number of Lights: 1" and "Bulb Base: E27", yet the copy describes "strips of the LED floor lamp" showing animated multicolour effects: an LED strip lamp and a replaceable E27 bulb are not the same thing. The same table gives "Shade Colour: White" while the Colour row says "Multicolored". Read the table and the copy together and you can see where they do not close. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any test of our own.

## Questions people ask

**How much does the Govee LED Floor Lamp cost?**

The listing prices it at £89.99, and that figure covers one lamp, not a pair.

**Does the Govee LED Floor Lamp work with Alexa?**

Yes. The listing says it takes voice commands via Alexa and Google Assistant, and the product name also states it works with Matter. The Govee Home app can be used as well.

**How many colours and scene modes does it have?**

The listing states 16 million colours and 61 dynamic preset scene modes, alongside a Warm White setting.

**What Wi-Fi band does the Govee lamp need?**

The listing says Google Assistant support runs on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, so it will not work over a 5GHz network.

**Is the Govee LED Floor Lamp waterproof?**

No. The listing records "Is Waterproof: False" and a water resistance level of "Not Water Resistant", so it is for indoor use.

**What bulb does the Govee LED Floor Lamp take?**

The spec table lists "Bulb Base: E27" and "Type of Bulb: LED", even though the copy describes strips of the LED floor lamp rather than a bulb you would replace. The two do not match.
