The Nekteck Foot Massager with Heat is a corded shiatsu foot massager — model NK-FM-0301, finished in grey — and it sits sixth in this guide at £65.99. Where the two mains-powered machines higher up the list advertise a "Cordless Remote Control" while their own spec fields say "Is Product Cordless: No", the Nekteck does not have that argument with itself. Its listing states "Power Source: Corded Electric", "Is Product Cordless: No", and its bullet list closes with "No remote control" in plain words.

On the numbers, the listing carries 4.4 stars from 404 ratings, against the 4.3 stars the £94.99 and £129.99 machines carry from 67,938 and 23,258 ratings — a slightly better score, from a far smaller pool of buyers. The star breakdown attached to this listing, though, only accounts for 100 ratings: 69 five-star, 17 four-star, 6 three-star, 3 two-star and 5 one-star. That is a 100-rating picture sitting under a 404-rating headline, and it is worth knowing which of the two you are reading. At 3.49 kg and 36.7 x 17.5 x 33.9 cm it is a floor unit that stays put rather than something you tuck under a desk. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we have carried out.
