The RENPHO Shiatsu Heated Foot Massager (model R-D003R) takes first place in this guide. It is a mains-powered shiatsu machine — the listing gives "Power Source: Corded Electric" and "Is Product Cordless: No" — with a heat function, three compression levels and a handset. At £94.99 it is also the cheaper of the two corded machines in the guide.

The number that does not close is the charging time: the same listing publishes "Charging Time: 30 days". Nothing in the box charges; the only wireless part named anywhere is the handset, which the highlight calls a "Cordless Remote Control". Its 4.3 star rating comes from 67,938 ratings — the larger of the two counts in the article — and it holds that rating £35 below the other corded machine. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as it appears, and not from any test of our own.
