The DuraTherm 700 x 400mm curved electric heated towel rail is a chrome-finished ladder radiator with 14 rails, a 150W manual element and a price of £74.97. It sits at #9 in this guide, and it is the listing behind one of the strangest pairings in the set: the smaller panel, at 700 x 400mm, is the one running the 150W element.

Its own specification sheet does not hold together either. The bullet points give a depth of 97-117mm and a "premium steel" build; the specification field lists the product dimensions as 4.5 x 40 x 70 cm — which works out at 45mm deep — and the material as carbon. The heat output is given as a range, 322-863 BTU "depending on Delta T", so it cannot be lined up against a fixed BTU figure from another listing. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we have carried out.

## Questions people ask

**Does the DuraTherm CKAMZ226 come with a heating element?**

Yes. The listing supplies it with a 150W manual element, and states a 2-year guarantee on that element.

**What heat output does it give?**

The listing quotes 322-863 BTU "depending on Delta T", so the figure moves with the Delta value used. No single output is stated.

**Are radiator valves included?**

No. The bullet points say radiator valves are not included and must be purchased separately from the seller's store.

**How much space is there for towels?**

The listing says the DuraTherm rail has 14 rails, which it describes as ample space for all your towels.

**What guarantees come with it?**

10 years on the towel rail and 2 years on the element, as stated in the bullet points.

**What is the DuraTherm CKAMZ226 made from?**

The bullet points say premium steel; the specification field lists the material as carbon. The two do not agree.
