The Greened House Chrome Electric Heated Towel Rail is a straight, wall-mounted electric towel rail measuring 600mm wide by 1200mm tall. It tops our guide to heated towel rails. The listing's technical information gives a 400-watt heating element, 22mm diameter cross tubes, and a 5-year guarantee on the rail with a 2-year guarantee on the element. It comes pre-filled with a rust inhibitor / antifreeze solution.

Where many listings in this guide retreat into BTU figures measured at specific Delta ratings, this one states its output in watts: 400W. That is a number you can compare directly. The listing also claims the PTC element can reduce power use by up to 30% once the rail is at temperature. One number does not add up: the product page says 4.5 stars from 59 reviews, but the review histogram supplied with the listing contains 100 reviews (77 five-star, 12 four-star, 2 three-star, 2 two-star, 7 one-star). Everything here comes from the Amazon listing, not from our own testing.
