The Greened House ECC6 is a curved chrome electric heated towel rail, 600mm wide and 800mm tall, priced at £87.39 and sitting second in this guide. It is rated 4.7 out of 5 from 60 customer ratings. On the question that runs through this whole guide — what the thing actually puts out — this listing does something most of the others avoid: it gives a wattage. The technical bullet states a 300 watt heating element, with no BTU figure and no Delta T rating attached to it.

Two things inside its own listing do not line up. The technical bullet describes the build as "Chrome plated mild steel" while the specification field for material type reads "copper, zinc and chrome" — the three metals the bullet lists as the plating coats, not the base metal. And the 5 year guarantee it advertises in the bullets is a rail-only figure: the manufacturer warranty field says 5 years on rail, 2 years on element. The energy efficient bullet also stops short of its own number, ending at "can reduce by up to" with no percentage after it. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing for this product, not from our own testing.

## Questions people ask

**What heat output does the Greened House ECC6 give?**

The listing states a 300 watt heating element for the 600mm x 800mm rail. It gives no BTU figure and no Delta T rating, so the 300W cannot be lined up against the BTU numbers quoted on other rails in this guide.

**What is the Greened House ECC6 made of?**

Two answers appear in the same listing. The technical bullet says chrome plated mild steel; the material type field says copper, zinc and chrome. Those three metals are the plating layers the bullet itself describes, so the spec field names the coating rather than the metal underneath.

**What does the guarantee cover?**

The manufacturer warranty field gives 5 years on the rail and 2 years on the element. The product bullets mention only the 5 years, so the shorter element cover appears in the specification rather than in the sales copy.

**Does the Greened House ECC6 arrive ready to fill?**

No. The listing says all its electric towel rails come pre-filled with a rust inhibitor/antifreeze solution, and are supplied with the heating element, adjustable wall brackets and wall fixing screws.

**How much does the Greened House ECC6 cost and how is it rated?**

The listing price is £87.39 and the rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 60 customer ratings, with 90th place in the Towel Warmers category.

**What energy saving does the listing claim?**

The energy efficient bullet says the power needed to hold the rail at temperature can reduce by up to — and stops there. The percentage is missing from the listing, so the saving cannot be checked against anything.
