The Greened House ECS 400 WIFI is a chrome electric towel rail measuring 400mm wide by 800mm high, and it sits eighth in this guide. It is listed at £108.78 with 4.3 out of 5 from 47 ratings, and its heat source is given as a single 200W WiFi-controlled element.

That figure sits oddly beside the panel size. Elsewhere in this guide a 500 x 700mm rail runs a 75W element and a smaller 700 x 400mm rail runs a 150W one; this 400 x 800mm rail claims 200W. The listing's own rating breakdown is harder still to reconcile: 59 five-star, 24 four-star, ten three-star, three two-star and four one-star add up to 100, not the 47 ratings quoted — although those 100 do average out at 4.3. The dimension fields disagree with each other too, quoting an item length of 80 centimetres against overall dimensions of 10L x 40W x 80H centimetres. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we carried out.

## Questions people ask

**What are the dimensions of the Greened House ECS 400 WIFI?**

400mm W x 800mm H, with 22mm cross tubes and a distance from the wall that the listing says is adjustable.

**How much heat does it put out?**

The listing gives no BTU or Delta T figure at all. It states a 200W WiFi-controlled element, and that is the only heat number on the page.

**How is it controlled?**

Through a free app for iOS, Android and Google, with 7-day scheduling and multiple on periods selectable each day. The listing does not name the app; reviewers name the Tuya Smart app.

**What guarantee comes with it?**

Five years on the towel rail and two years on the WiFi element, covering manufacturing defects, as stated in the listing's technical bullet.

**How many customer ratings does it have?**

The listing says 4.3 out of 5 from 47 ratings, while its own breakdown is 59 five-star, 24 four-star, 10 three-star, 3 two-star and 4 one-star — 100 in total.

**Is the element already fitted when it arrives?**

The listing says the rails come pre-filled and supplied with the WiFi element, brackets, screws and plugs. An electrician reviewing it says the element is not pre-fixed and advises bringing tape.
