The Rhino Lock Secure Key is the key safe at number 8 in this guide. It costs £25.95, which is less than half the £68.95 of the most expensive box in the list, and it carries 4.6 out of 5 from 836 ratings — the largest review base of any product here. Its own bullet points promise a heavy duty aluminium alloy body, a 4 digit combination lock, a wall mounting kit in the box and roughly 167 cm³ of internal space.

The number worth checking is that 167 cm³. The same listing's spec table measures the case at 4 cm deep, 9.5 cm wide and 11.5 cm high, which is 437 cm³ of exterior volume before you allow for the thickness of the walls, the door and the lock mechanism. The spec table also lists a 'chamber depth' of 11.5 cm — the same figure it gives for the height, which cannot be an internal depth in a case only 4 cm front to back. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing and its customer reviews, not from any test of our own.
