The Seago SG977 is a battery-powered kids' electric toothbrush issued in blue, priced at £16.99, and it takes fourth place in this guide. The listing gives it 4.5 out of 5 from 3,847 ratings and a best sellers rank of 24th in Children's Power Toothbrushes. On the page it offers 24,000 VPM, a 2-minute timer with 30-second reminders, coloured LED lights plus a white observation light so parents can check the clean, four brush heads, soft nylon bristles and an IPX7 waterproof rating, with one AAA battery said to last up to 150 days.

Two things stand out when you line the fields up against each other. The first is that this listing does not overreach: the settings field reads 1, and no bullet point claims a second cleaning mode — which is not a given in a guide where another brush advertises five modes and then records one. The second is a straight contradiction. The fifth bullet says one AAA battery is not included. The included components field on the same page lists "Battery, Cover". Both cannot be true, and the listing does not say which is. The 4.5 average does at least add up: the breakdown shown is 76% five-star, 11% four-star, 6% three-star, 3% two-star and 4% one-star, which lands on 4.5 from 3,847 ratings. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as we saw it, not from a brush we tested.
