The GIPOYENT TV Light Strip is a 5M (16.4ft) RGB strip sold as a backlight for 45–75 inch televisions. This listing prices it at £11.04 and carries 2,576 ratings averaging 4.2 out of 5. It sits at number nine in this guide.

The reason it lands here rather than lower is arithmetic. The spec table gives the wattage as 5 watts, and the bullet points describe a "Safe 5V USB power supply". At 5 volts, 5 watts is roughly 1 amp of current — the power figure and the supply voltage are consistent with each other, which is not something you can say about every listing in this guide. The mismatches in this fiche are elsewhere: the same table lists a "Bulb Shape Size" of B9, a designation for a small bayonet bulb rather than a length of tape, and gives the "Power and Plug Description" as AC/DC while the bullets describe USB. The control fields pull in two directions as well, with "App" as the control method and "Remote Control" as the controller type. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out ourselves.
