The IMFAA Quilted Waterproof Mattress Protector is a white quilted fitted protector with a fully elasticated 40cm stretch skirt, listed at £10.99 in a double size. It takes number 6 in our guide to mattress protectors.

The reason it sits where it does is dull but useful: this listing agrees with itself. The product name says 137x190cm, the size field says Double (137x190+40)cm, and the size guide in the bullets gives length 190cm, width 137cm and depth 40cm. Fabric type and material type both read Polyester, so the same word appears in both. Number of Items is 1 and Unit Count is 1.0 count, so nobody is quietly selling you a pack of anything else. The one number that sits oddly is the thread count field, listed as 180 — a measure you would normally meet on a woven cotton cover rather than a protector the same page calls polyester. The listing carries 1,023 ratings at 4.5 out of 5, and the breakdown shown beside that score lists 73 at five stars, 17 at four, 6 at three, 3 at one and 1 at two. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing as published, not from any test we ran.

## Questions people ask

**What size mattress does the IMFAA Quilted Waterproof Mattress Protector fit?**

The size guide in the listing gives length 190cm, width 137cm and depth 40cm, and the size field reads Double (137x190+40)cm, so it is aimed at a double mattress up to roughly 40cm deep.

**Is it fully waterproof?**

The water resistance level is listed as Waterproof and IMFAA describes a high-quality waterproof backing that protects the mattress from spills, sweat, stains and everyday accidents.

**Can it go in the washing machine?**

Yes — the care instructions say machine washable at 40°C, but they also say do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron and do not dry clean.

**Will it rustle or crinkle in use?**

IMFAA states that the noiseless waterproof layer prevents crinkling sounds and that the breathable construction allows airflow.

**What is it made of?**

Both the fabric type and material type fields read Polyester, and IMFAA describes the surface as soft quilted.

**How many protectors are in the pack?**

One. Number of Items is listed as 1 and Unit Count as 1.0 count, so the price of £10.99 buys a single protector.
